Welcome to Second Curve Coaching

Welcome to our community—a place where you belong and your gifts matter.

Second Curve Coaching exists to connect skilled Christians with high-capacity believers who hunger to grow but lack access to mentorship and development opportunities. We’re an online community built on a simple but powerful calling: to encourage, empower, and guide those ready to share their knowledge, skills, wisdom, and experience with others.

Our Foundation: Nehemiah 8:10

Our mission flows from the often-overlooked wisdom in Nehemiah 8:10. While many know the verse’s famous ending, the entire passage reveals a profound pattern for living:

“Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions to those for whom nothing is prepared, for this day is holy to our Lord. And do not be grieved, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”

This verse teaches us to:

  • Celebrate abundance – Enjoy the success and provision God has given you
  • Share generously – Send portions to those who lack access to your resources, skills, and expertise
  • Embrace this as holy work – Living this way honors the Lord
  • Find strength in joy – Don’t apologize for this lifestyle; the joy of the Lord sustains you

When you celebrate your effectiveness while blessing those for “whom nothing has been prepared,” you participate in something sacred. This cycle of enjoying, sending, and multiplying creates joy in the Lord—and that joy becomes your strength to continue.

The Second Curve: Making Your Next Move

The concept of the “second curve” speaks to proactive transformation. Rather than waiting for decline, second curve people initiate change before reaching their peak—typically around 80% of their current capacity.

Life transitions—whether launching new ventures, shifting career trajectories, or redefining organizational priorities—often demand psychological, relational, and financial transformation. The Second Curve Coaching community connects you with others who are:

  • Beginning their own new curves
  • Recently navigating similar transitions
  • Certified coaches experienced in guiding these changes

From “Can Do It” to “Conduit”

There’s profound meaning in transitioning from personal achievement to becoming a channel for others. Second curve people discover the joy of transferring their knowledge, skills, wisdom, and experience to those who will multiply impact far beyond our individual reach.

This aligns beautifully with Jesus’ Great Commission to go into all the world and His heart for the poor and marginalized. People of the second curve embrace the privilege of sharing what they’ve learned with those for “whom nothing has been prepared.”
